Gold and Platinum
Interesting afternoon
at the Mount Thursday with 2 Rings found the first one a 9 ct Wedding Band 9.2 grams, this was followed 10 minutes later with what I thought was Silver but after closer inspection has 950 stamped on the inside and came in at 5.2 grams, both of these had spent sometime in the care of Neptune
These were accompanied by a selection of badly corroded coins due to what could be described as a massive sand up welling on a section of the Beach accompanied with layers of sea lettuce and kelp
The sand in places was of a texture not seen before on this section with some places built to a depth of half a metre which made digging a breeze
Went back last night with Colin but this had changed again with more Kelp and came up with very little
Jumped back up to the dry to be content with the leftovers of the Surf Carnival of rigging clamps, nuts and bolts, washers and a Hammer along with a few coins
Very nice inscription on the inside of the Gold Wedding Band
"Here Is My Heart Guard It Well"
